Mikvah

Tikkun Olam will hold a waterside service on August 22 at the new Charles Mill Beach. We'll have our usual service in the pavilion, followed by a mikvah and oneg.
Immersion in the mikvah is a tradition of spiritual renewal and preparation, and it holds special significance in the weeks leading up to the High Holy Days. As we approach Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, mikvah offers a tangible way to enter a season of self-examination, repentance, and return (teshuvah) — a physical picture of the inward cleansing and renewal these days call us toward.
Whether you're seeking mikvah for yourself or simply want to witness and support others in the congregation, all are welcome.
Modest attire is requested.
The park charges $5 per person or $10 per car. All guests joining us will have this covered — for members in need, please just let us know and we'll take care of it as well. See Amie.

Fast of the 9th of Av (Tisha B'Av) — July 23, 2026
A solemn day of mourning over the destruction of the Temple and the exile of the Jewish people. This is observed at home.
Tikkun Olam on The Road!

Tikkun Olam will be joining in a special service featuring Moreh Lance Hamel of Derech HaYasher (Washington State) and Grant Luton of Torah Today Ministries. Both are excellent teachers and authors.
Service will include Liturgy, Torah Reading and Teaching. There will be an Oneg followed by a Q&A time.
Sign up will be available Shabbat.
